Healthcare Assistants

You can make an appointment to see a member of the nurse team any time from 8.00am to 5.40pm Monday to Friday.  In addition we have extended access nurse appointments from 6.30pm to 7.40pm on Mondays and Tuesdays.  Please note you will be asked what the appointment is for so that it can be made with the right nurse for the appropriate amount of time.

The nurses deal with:  medical dressings; injections; travel immunisations, ear syringing; smoking cessation; weight management; health checks and all routine screening.

If you have a chronic condition shuch as Asthma, COPD, Hypertension, Diabetes or a Cardiovascular condition you will be seen on a regular basis for checks.  Letters will be sent out inviting you to attend.

Phlebotomy appointments are only available until 4.40pm which accommodates the last collection of samples by the Freeman laboratories.
