The Autumn Covid Booster Campaign launches today
This Autumn, more than 26 million people will be invited to come forward and receive a booster vaccination, further protecting them from COVID-19.
Today, Monday 5th September, the Autumn Booster rollout will begin with 1.6 million care home staff and residents and housebound people set to receive a covid jab that tackles the new variants of the virus.
And from Wednesday 7th September, the total eligible for a booster will reach 7 million people, when invitations are sent to people over 75 and frontline health and social care workers.
Once you have received your invitation, you can book your booster online or by calling 119.

As with previous rollouts, the oldest and most vulnerable will be first in line to be offered a vaccination. Please wait to be invited before contacting the NHS, your GP practice or trying to book a jab.
Around 26 million people across England will be eligible for an autumn booster over the comings weeks, which includes over 50s, those with a weakened immune system, health and social care workers and care home residents and housebound people, in line with guidance set out by the Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI).
