A message from Dr Foo

After 29 years as a Partner at the Grove Medical Group, it is with mixed feelings that I am announcing my retirement next month. I have seen so many changes over the years: moving onto computer systems, changes to the premises and even greater changes to how General Practice is delivered.

At the heart of all this is being of service to patients but I hope it has been more than that, it is also about getting to know everyone I have met over the years as individuals.

It has been a tremendous privilege to see babies grow up. It has been an honour to see families across multiple generations. General Practice remains a challenge especially over the past two years but I believe that it, and the NHS, is something worth preserving.

I could not have done it for all those years without the support of my colleagues and the staff at the surgery. I wish you all the best in the future.
