Travel Risk Assessment

If you’re planning a trip abroad, you may need to think about whether you need any vaccinations.

The first step is to check the Travel Health Pro website and look up your destination country.

Please check there is enough time to get all of the vaccinations you need before you go. Some vaccines need to be given well in advance of travel, and others may need to be ordered specially. Please note we only provide the vaccines mentioned below and any other vaccines you require would need to be given at travel clinic/pharmacy.

You will need to complete a travel risk assessment and submit it to us for review, it does ask a variety of questions including previous vaccines you may have had.

Then you need to make an appointment with us.  We will check that we have the vaccinations detailed below available, although as previously mentioned you may need to get some from a specialist travel clinic. 

Please note the travel vaccines detailed below are the ones we are able to administer free on the NHS, providing we are able to get stock of these vaccines. WE DO NOT PROVIDE ANY OTHER TRAVEL VACCINES OTHER THAN THE ONES DETAILED BELOW.

• Polio (given as a combined diphtheria/tetanus/polio jab)
• Typhoid
• Hepatitis A
• Cholera

If you require other vaccinations, you will need to arrange those through a specialist travel clinic.
