How to use the NHS Bowel Cancer Screening kit

If you are aged 60 to 74, you will be sent an NHS Bowel Cancer Screening Kit every two years.

It is a simple ‘at home’ test that looks for tiny amounts of blood in your poo, which can indicate bowel cancer.

Every year more than 16,800 people in the UK die from bowel cancer. More than half of all cases of bowel cancer can be prevented.

Returning your screening kit could save your life.

Watch the video to learn what the test does and how to use it.
