What I Do
I'm a GP with special interests in palliative care and frailty.
I work as part of the GJH Home Visiting team, providing acute care to patients who are housebound or unable to visit one of the GP practices in Gosforth and Jesmond.
How I Support Patients
It's important that housebound patients are able to receive the same care as everyone else.
The Home Visits team works with all GP practices in the network to visit patients who need to be seen at home.
I can assess a patients conditions, put together a treatment plan, prescribe medication or an onward referral - everything I'd do if someone visited their GP practice.
