Northern Gas Works will begin roadworks on Great North Road starting the week of 5th May. Four-way traffic lights at The Grove junction , then will move further along the road . Please allow extra travel time to avoid delays and help clinicians stay on schedule.

I’m James, the Social Prescribing Team Lead for North Gosforth and Jesmond Lower Gosforth Primary Care Networks.

What I Do

I lead and support the social prescribing link workers as they continue their great work to help patients in the community.

How I Support Patients

Social Prescribing helps patients by offering floating support in the community, listening to their problems, signposting to relevant community services or resources, and practising motivational interviewing/coaching interventions.
